🌿 Weekend Silent Retreat in Germany — February 6–8, 2026

We’re pleased to announce a weekend silent retreat  in Geltendorf, a peaceful village just west of Munich, Germany.

This retreat offers a chance to step away from the busyness of daily life and reconnect with stillness and clarity. Through guided meditation, silent contemplation, and periods of mindful activity, we’ll explore the simple yet profound depth of presence and awareness.

The retreat will be held in a private home, offering an intimate and supportive setting for practice. Accommodation and meals will be provided, and there is no charge to attend. Participants are simply asked to make their own travel arrangements. Geltendorf has a regional train station, making it easily accessible from Munich and surrounding areas.

As space is limited, please confirm your interest as soon as possible. To reserve a place please email us at: info@ultimatemeaning.org

Silent meditation retreats in BC, Canada

What to expect from a silent retreat?

Rising early in the morning to the sound of the session gong, we dedicate ourselves wholeheartedly to practice  throughout the day.  We meditate  6 to 8 hrs. per day and listen to teachings explaining the meaning of the Path. We remain mindful throughout the day whether walking, eating, sitting, standing, or just relaxing.

Personal one-to one guidance is available from Lama Choga, and there is an optional daily yoga class to keep the body limber and the mind clear.

Everyone is expected to contribute to the smooth running of the retreat by volunteering to do small jobs like helping prepare the food or cleaning up.

Why do we facilitate these silent retreats?
