The Importance of Community
Community is essential to human development and well-being and it’s the same when it comes to the spiritual path. However, there are additional challenges for those seeking awakening. This is because it is almost impossible to navigate the complexities of the spiritual path without guidance from an experienced teacher.
Likewise if you choose to dedicate yourself wholeheartedly to practice you still need to have a roof over your head and food to eat. This situation is even more difficult here in the west because we lack traditional systems for supporting spiritual practitioners that exist in the east.
