Help establish a monastery for Drolung Foundation in DRC
My teacher Khenpo Lhabu has a vision of spreading the Buddha Dharma around the world. A few years back, he bought some land in the DRC to build a Tibetan Buddhist Monastery.
The monastery will help feed, clothe, and educate many young monks and nuns who otherwise would have little opportunity to better themselves in these troubling times in central Africa.
Your donations will not only help build the monastery but also will help feed and educate the young monks and nuns. Please visit Khenpo Lhabu’s Facebook page for more information on his activities.

Namaste. I’m from Tanzania. 40 years old, never married and interested in ordaining as a Monk in a Tibetan Buddhist lineage. Would it be possible to get advice how I can get training? I’m also interested in the Congo Monastery project .
I’ve lived and traveled in the Himalayas (Uttarakhand, Rishikesh and Pokhara Nepal) between 2011-2016 and so I’ve been enthralled and familiar with Tibetan Buddhism for a while from my exposure in travel and reading the teachings. Especially Dzogchen.. I would be in gratitude to receive feedback.

What a joke.
No doubt his intentions are good, laced a little by the desire for his own greatness. As if the Congo hasn’t been messed up enough by foreigners. Why not just leave them alone! Does he really think this “Buddha dharma” has something new to offer? Don’t forget , the droop never left school and is well doctrinated. If he was a “realised being” he wouldn’t leave his own country or look for students anywhere.
Sad to hear you have so many negative opinions of others you have never met. I hope this improves for you.
